Posting the cover art for this article on Instagram yesterday certainly raised a number of eyebrows. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of responses on the post and am now overly excited to hear what the rest of you have say after watching the accompanying video.
Let’s first begin by breaking down the definition of the term “carnival concierge”. According to Google, a concierge is:
I would say that “carnival concierge” would then mean…
an entrepreneur or company whose job is to assist clients by securing fete tickets, arranging accommodations, collecting costume packages, and organizing transportation, etc. for a fee.
Let me say this right now, I am not here to throw anybody under the bus. Additionally, I’m not here to big anybody up either. I have no carnival concierge loyalties (I said what I said). Why? Because I don’t use them. It’s also never been my style to recommend a service that I haven’t experienced first-hand, and I shan’t be starting now. I am however, a strong advocate for “Team DIY” and will happily provide you with a list of known concierge services so that you can do your own research and make your own informed decision thereafter. Here’s a list of their Instagram pages for you to check out:
Before I leave you, just remember that everyone’s experience with carnival concierges will always be different. There can be individuals who have wonderful and flawless experiences with a company, and others who write public gripe letters about the poor service they received from that same concierge.
Y’all be safe out there in dem carnival streets. Spend your money wisely, eh. Oh, and don’t forget to like this post, share it, comment on it and subscribe!
Toodles!
