Here’s a short video that captures my Wednesday and Thursday shenanigans during Carnival in Jamaica. I kicked off my Kingston fete line-up with I Love Soca cooler fete. After a wonderful night reuniting with my carnival family I slept for a couple hours then headed to JamNation on Hellshire Beach.
Candy Coated’s Wine Up boat ride and beach party came after that. It was so nice to finally touch down on the beautiful Maiden Cay. To finish off my Thursday fete-ventures I attended Afloat Soca Cruise (Boat 1) which was held on the Treasure Queen. It was a long day but totally worth the fun and memories.
If I go back to Jamaica next year I will likely cut my fetes down to one per day and try not to get chained up for any fete marathons. My body and my bank account will thank me. Afloat and JamNation will likely not be on next year’s lineup. Why? don’t worry a full Fete recap with my reasoning for this is on the way! But first, let the remaining fete vlogs shine!
