I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who has done a bit of online shopping since Rona hit. I was pleasantly pleased to come upon an opportunity to select a few pieces from Femme Luxe, a fashion brand for women based in the UK. Beige Ruched One Shoulder Belted Dress

I have a soft spot for ruched, one-sleeved garments. There’s just something sexy about showing off one melanated shoulder. This hot belted dress screams wedding celebration. I could also see myself wearing it to a semi-formal work event or a dinner date at a sexy restaurant. Ruched pieces are nice because they give your body a lil extra spice (IMO), especially if you think you’re lacking in certain areas. This belted dress is super comfortable, true to size, and definitely made for dancing. I highly recommend wearing it with some pumps or simple strappy heels.
Animal Print Organza Zip-up Crop Top

I’m always on the look-out for pieces that will compliment my baldie and offer a little cultural pop. This organza crop top has my name written all over it and I have the perfect pair of pleather shorts already stashed in my closet. It’s a great crop top to wear to brunch, a fete or a day of shopping. Add a big hat and some comfy wedges to finish off the look and boom! My only gripe with this piece is that the edge of the sleeves were too small for my arms. My movements were extremely restricted, but that’s what happens with organza fabric. Even if I got a bigger size I still think I would have experienced the same thing. If you decide to purchase this item ensure that you have the appropriate strapless bra to go with it. I recommend one that has a pop of color because if you decide to wear it out dancing you’ll certainly be giving a little peep show here and there.
White Belted Bodycon Midi Dress

If this midi dress was another color, I’d say it would be another perfect wedding ensemble. However, that’s not the case. We don’t need any brides giving extra side-eyes on their special day. I can see myself wearing this to a holiday party or to an all white event, like Dîner en Blanc (if it was still a thing). Wearing this midi dress to work is also an option, especially if I have to give a special presentation of some sort. Needless to say, this dress is plenty versatile. The sleeves are my favorite and add an extra dash of class to the dress. To my surprise, the dress fits perfectly. Since I don’t plan on gaining any added weight it will be even more comfortable after my gym body returns. There is no limit to the style and color of shoes one could wear with this dress. As you can see, I chose a floral pair of heels from Nine West and a colorful pair of earrings from Aldo to complete the look.
Camel Crew Neck Cropped Loungewear
Size: M/L (12/14 UK)
Y’all know I LOVE to be comfortable. Out of all the outfits, this loungewear set is my favorite! I mean, I’m a tomboy at heart so there’s no shocker there. It’s also perfect because I don’t have to wait for the world to open up to wear it (unlike the other items). As you can see, I matched it with a pair of gold and purple Reebok classics that I picked up over ten years ago. This set can also be worn with some casual flip flops or a pair of stylish heels to kick things up a notch. The loungewear fabric is breathable and the elastic bands on the top and pants are clutch. I was concerned that the package would take a long time to arrive but it popped up in less than three weeks. That’s pretty darn good if you ask me, especially considering the fact that it came from another continent.
